Pastoral Support

At Redbrook Hayes, pastoral support for our pupils is paramount to achieving our school vision of limitless possibilities for everyone.

Inclusion and Pastoral Officer

Our Inclusion and Pastoral Officer, Mrs Kirsty May, works with pupils and families across school. Mrs May runs our Stay and Play on Wednesday mornings for children aged 0-3 and also supports pupils with pastoral needs during the school day. This is done through a variety of means: 1:1 daily check-ins, longer sessions of play therapy or weekly sessions of pastoral time. Mrs May also supports parents and families where a need arises and works closely with other agencies to facilitate and signpost support.

School Counsellor

At Redbrook Hayes we have a permanent part-time counsellor, Tracy Szamek, who supports children with their wellbeing across regular sessions over fixed-term periods. We are proud to be able to offer this service to our pupils when they require support or someone to share any concerns with.
