Redbrook Hayes Community Primary School

Family Learning Project

Our Family Learning Project encourages parents to come into school, work as a team with their children and build relationships around the stove!  The  comments made by some of the participants from last time, showing the truly amazing impact this fun and innovative project is having on our learners and their families!

"It was great to learn how to cook curry myself – gone are the takeaways in our house now!"

"It is a great bonding time, fun environment and the group is great company to cook and be with. I will definitely try these recipes at home."

"I enjoyed making food from scratch and spending time in school with my child."

After taking part in the sessions, families are given a take home goodie bag that includes the recipe card and the ingredients to recreate the dish at home for the rest of their family, showcasing the skills they have acquired.

Our Family Learning Project is in action, along with some recipes recreated by our budding chefs at home!
